As one of the most distinctive guitar-players since the Telecaster was invented, Amos Garrett has made almost a dozen albums of his own, appeared on more than 150 artists’ recordings, and played rock ‘n’ roll, folk, and pop, not to mention just about every other kind of roots music there is, from blues to country.
He’s played and recorded with Paul Butterfield, Ian Tyson, Bonnie Raitt, Jesse Winchester, Maria Muldaur, Emmylou Harris, Bobby Charles, and even Anne Murray. His unique style has been praised by Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler, among others. Amos is also a wonderful singer! These days, Garrett lives in High River and performs with his Jazz Trio and as a duo with professional musician Julian Kerr.
Kerr has been playing piano, bass, and guitar for over 30 years, appearing on such gold record hits as “One Tin Soldier” and “Mr. Monday” with the Original Caste. He has performed with Gaye Delorme and Bo Diddley.
