Vancouver Island MusicFest would like to congratulate these past MusicFest performers for their recently announced Grammy Nominations! Ruthie Foster, Rambin’ Jack Elliott, Duke Robillard, John Hammond, Robert Cray, Mavis Staples, Steve Earle and Bela Fleck .


Audience Information

Vancouver Island MusicFest has been bringing great roots and world music to the Comox Valley and Vancouver Island since 1995. Produced by the Comox Valley Folk Society, MusicFest is a not-for-profit, cost recovery, volunteer driven event with over 1100 volunteers and 300 community sponsors who combine forces to bring this first rate music festival to life.


Camping Info

One of the best ways to truly experience Vancouver Island MusicFest is to fully immerse yourself in the weekend through camping on-site. Families and friends come from the local community and far away to enjoy time together as campers and festival attendees.

The Comox Valley offers a great selection of accommodation ranging from Hostels to Bed and Breakfasts and from Motels and Hotels to campgrounds. There is something for every taste and every budget waiting for you!


Fairgrounds & Site Map

Vancouver Island MusicFest takes place at the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds in the Comox Valley on the East Coast of Vancouver Island. The Exhibition Grounds are located in the flood plain of the Tsolum River along side the rich fertile farmlands of the Comox Valley.


Getting Here

Whether you prefer planes, trains or automobiles (or boats for that matter) there are lots of ways to make your way to the beautiful Comox Valley on Vancouver Island.


Kidzzone

There is so much to see, do and hear at Vancouver Island MusicFest Kidzzone, your kids might not let you leave! Supervised craft activities all weekend long, stilt walking, costumes, sprinklers, music, art projects, juggling, story telling, face painting and a kidz parade are all in store for kids and families. Interactive workshops are open to kids and their caregivers.
