MusicFest 2008
Vancouver Island MusicFest 2008 was a stellar year where reggae music and bluegrass met in paradise and made irie banjo babies! From heartfelt spoken word to euro-punk fusion and from fresh country licks to soulful blues – the line up invited the audience to ‘dig their musical roots’. In addition, new ‘green festival’ initiatives and a participatory art project about the UN Declaration of Human Rights set the vibe. 2008 performers included
