Ah…. so lovely. The relaxing calm of the shade rolling across the fairgrounds, rung in by the unmistakable voice of Jon Anderson.
Guests are now gathered in front of the mainstage – all coming together at the end of a day full of great music, ready for an evening of more great music. Still to come: Albert Lee and John Jorgenson, Randy Newman and The Travellin’ McCourys and The Lee Boys.
They’ve already seen a lot today: We’re talking stages packed with up to 18 performers for diverse workshops, and small stages with big sound. Roving performers have brought artistic entertainment, artists in place have shared their perspective on the scenes unfolding around them.
This is a wonderful time of night – everyone decompressing yet eager still for some of the top acts still to come. Filling up on yummy food, doing a little shopping at the MusicFest vendors. Getting ready for some dancing.
It may be dusk but the festival is far from over. We still have another full day – hope to see you all down here!
