Vancouver Island MusicFest Camping
Welcome to the Vancouver Island MusicFest Lost Resort.

Our colourful campground is situated on a pastoral acreage bordering the lovely forested banks of the Tsolum River . We offer a variety of camping spots to choose from. You can nestle in the shade lined perimeter or enjoy the full sun drenched centre of our fields. We hope you enjoy a fabulous and memorable weekend of camping at MusicFest this July 11-13 2008. Please make yourself aware of our campground policies to ensure an enjoyable experience for all!

Details:

Access to the Camping area is located off Dove Creek Road, a left turn approx. 100 yds past the main entrance to the Fairgrounds.

The Dove Creek Road Gate will open at 3 pm on Wednesday July 9th. Please be prepared to service yourself in the line up - no facilities will be provided.

The Gate to the Inner Field will open at noon on Thursday July 10th

Guests are required to provide appropriate identification upon registering and they must possess a week-end pass to the Festival in order to enjoy the campgrounds

All campsites must be registered to an adult (over 19)

Registered guests ONLY are permitted in the campground

Each registered campsite is entitled to 4 wristbands. You have the option of purchasing 2 extra wristbands per site. @$5.00 each.

Guests are permitted 1 secure vehicle per tent site, which must remain in the campground for the duration of the weekend. (Inner Field)

Vehicles towing trailers or 5th Wheels, must be moved to the Camping Parking lot. $5.00 parking fee applies.

There are a limited number of Disabled Campsites available. These will be held until 4 pm on Friday

Respect your neighbours, both the quiet and energetic ones. By working together we can create a positive environment in which respect, kindness and common sense will prevail.

Lock up your valuables.

Consume alcohol within your campsite. Outside alcohol is not permitted within the Festival Grounds

Loud, drunken, aggressive, violent or dangerous behaviour WILL NOT BE TOLERATED

Enjoy the fact that MusicFest is a Live Music Venue. Please, NO canned music and no amplification in the campground.

Please keep all drum circles' far far away from the camping, sleeping and performance areas.

Quiet down after 2 AM.

Understand we cannot promise you'll get your full 8 hours of sleep!

Leave your pets at home. There is a ZERO tolerance for pets on site.

Enjoy your propane fire-pit or barbeque but be sure to bring an extinguisher (required).. No fires are permitted on site.

Leave a light footprint and remove your own garbage and waste from your campsite. The MusicFest Enviro Crew will provide large containers for re-cycling and garbage.

Campers, RV.‘s over 20 ‘ $75.00

The CAMPING AND SECURITY CREW is the contact for all concerns and emergencies.

Their Headquarters is located at the entrance between the Inner and the Outer camping fields.

They have communication with MusicFest Security, R.C.M.P., First Aid and ambulance.
